Dr. Ballentine received her DVM from UC Davis in 2009. Prior to that, she graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.S. degree in biology in 2003 and San Jose State University with a M.A. degree in biology in 2005. She grew up on the peninsula which started her love of animals at an early age by participating in her local 4H and Pony Club. She currently lives in El Sobrante with her dogs, Mikey, Shelby, and Roxanne, Siamese cats, geckos and corn snakes. She is very passionate about keeping pets healthy through preventive care.
