Dr. Julianne Moore joined the Hurst Banfield team in September of 2015. Dr. Moore grew up in North Texas and attended Austin College for her undergraduate degree while working part-time as a veterinary technician. She then attended Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine to achieve her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Moore enjoys surgery as well as internal medicine cases, but also has a special interest in avian medicine. She enjoys seeing pets for routine check-ups, preventive care, and developing relationships with pet owners. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband, going on hikes with their dog (Riggins, a mixed-breed rescue), spoiling their cat (Buffy, a beautiful calico), bird watching, and catching up on Netflix shows.
