Dr. Bennett grew up in Chardon, Ohio but split her time with Georgia as a kid. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BSA degree in animal science with an emphasis in equine production in 2011 along with a certificate in agro-security. After a year of working, she went back to school and graduated with a master’s in animal and dairy science with a research emphasis in gait analysis. She then moved to Michigan to attend Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in May 2017 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Bennett joined Banfield in August 2017 and is proud to call West Lansing her home hospital. She now lives in Ovid, MI with her 2 dogs: Duke (a lab mix) and Millie Mae (a Stephens’ Cur). She enjoys hiking with her dogs, spending time with her family, reading and horseback riding in her spare time.
