Dr. Lonny Dredla grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and developed an interest in exotic animals at a young age. He did his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University in animal science. He received his master's degree in biology at the University of Nebraska before attending the veterinary medicine program at University of Nebraska/University of Iowa State. Dr. Dredla is primarily a small animal veterinarian with special interests in reptiles and pocket pets. He is married and is keeping busy with their new baby girl, and has two ball pythons, an African spur thighed tortoise, fish and two Shiba Inus. Dr. Dredla is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors when not working.
