Dr. Heather Padgett


Dr. Padgett received her Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in animal science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in biology from the University of Delaware. After undergraduate school, she obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. While in veterinary school, she was accepted as a Merck-Merial research fellow and performed research relating to the bovine leukemia virus. Since graduating from veterinary school, she has been practicing medicine at Banfield. Dr. Padgett specializes in preventive care, and performs soft tissue surgery and dental prophylaxis/extractions. She lives with her husband in Zionsville, and enjoys hiking, crafting, and playing/listening to music.
