Dr. Kite has been with Banfield since 2010, initially as an associate veterinarian and since 2012, as a chief of staff. He grew up on a beef cattle farm still in operation in the small town of Shenandoah, VA and was active in the FFA serving as the 1999-2000 State Treasurer. He attended Virginia Tech and majored in animal & poultry sciences prior to vet school. He is a 2007 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kite's special interests include internal medicine and dermatology. In his spare time, he is an avid runner, competing in events from 5ks to the full marathon, and enjoys watching college football in the fall. He lives with his wife (also a Banfield chief of staff veterinarian), 2 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats in Virginia Beach.
