Dr. Izlar was born and raised in Snellville, Georgia, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Georgia Southern University. She then attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May 2014. Her special interests include small animal internal medicine and surgery, but she enjoys all of the diverse aspects of the veterinary field. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Joel, their son, Cillian, and the family dog, Polly. She also enjoys watching movies, reading and being in the great outdoors (hiking, kayaking and camping). Dr. Izlar's goal at Banfield Pet Hospital is to make lasting relationships with clients and patients by providing the highest quality medicine to every patient she sees.
