Kristen Friend

¡Hola! My name is Kristen and I just started with Banfield as a Client Service Representative in October, 2023. I am super excited to be here! After 20+ years in client facing HR leadership roles at large corporate organizations, I decided it is time to make a shift in my career journey. My most rewarding career moments have been those when I made a positive impact on others. I have always had a passion for animals and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to combine my experience with my passion and to be able to make a positive impact on our patients and their owners. Banfield values their associates’ development and recognizes the benefits of cross-training teams. I look forward to also learning the Veterinary Assistant responsibilities and I aspire to eventually become a Certified Vet Tech. While not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and furry friends. My husband, Jay, and I have a 14-year old daughter, Hannah, and two rescues - Crosby, our lab mix who loves everyone, and our very sassy kitten Violet, who learned the zoomies from her friend Crosby. I am looking forward to learning and growing in the Veterinary industry as part of the Banfield family.
