Dr. Nieman has been with the Florence hospital since April 2010. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Western Kentucky University in 2005, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn in 2009. During her summers in veterinary school, Dr. Nieman worked for Banfield as a student ambassador learning about the importance of preventive care. While in practice, Dr. Nieman enjoys connecting with clients and helping her fellow colleagues learn and grow. She loves nutrition and educating her clients on how to read nutrition labels and finding the right food that addresses pets’ needs. Dr. Nieman's passions outside of work include yearly mission trips to Mexico for spay and neuter clinics, horseback riding and spending time with family, friends, her Staffordshire terrier mix, Carly, and Tibetan spaniel mix, Dallas.
