Dr. Jansel Perez Martinez


Dr. Perez was born in Cuba and raised in Puerto Rico. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in environmental science, animal behavior and ecology research, and his doctorate degree was earned at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts and Nevis located in the Caribbean. His clinical year was completed at Oklahoma State University with concentrations in gross and microscopic pathology. Dr. Perez’s fields of interest are soft tissue surgery, tissue reconstruction and wound healing. He is a strong believer in preventive medicine and client/owner education to achieve longer, healthier lives for his patients. In his free time, Dr. Perez enjoys traveling the world as an amateur photographer. He also enjoys physical and mental training, agriculture, road trips, hiking, scuba diving, climbing, beach volleyball and baseball.
