Dr. Nicholas Cross

Dr. Cross was born and raised in Metairie, LA. He also spent some of his younger years in Arizona, where he attended high school, but his love for southern culture and his beloved Tigers brought him home to Louisiana. Dr. Cross attended LSU and received his Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences in 2008. He then attended LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. During his last two years of veterinary school, Dr. Cross had the privilege of care for LSU's live tiger mascot, Mike VI. Dr. Cross continued his training in Indiana with internships in surgery, internal and emergency medicine. From there, he worked in private practice for five years before joining the Banfield family in November 2018. As a veterinarian, his special interests include internal medicine, cardiology and diagnostic imaging. Dr. Cross resides in Covington with his wife, Bethany, and their pets, Indy, Wally and Sweetie. He enjoys running, outdoor activities and of course, all LSU sports.
