    Dr. Paulette Andrew

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Andrew grew up in Houston, Texas. Her childhood dream of being a veterinarian was fulfilled when she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. An 18 year stint in emergency medicine provided the time needed to raise her family of 4 children and fed her passion for surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Andrew came to work for Banfield in 1999 and she lives in Buda, TX with her husband and 2 whippets, Pippen and Kate. Her hobbies include xeriscape gardening with native plants, tubing the local rivers and canoeing whenever possible. More Details >>

    Dr. Geruza Paiva


    Dr. Paiva went to veterinary school in Brazil and graduated in 1978. She moved to America in 1998 and attended Cornell University College of Veterinary where she got licensed to practice in the USA. She has 2 cats and one bunny and has many hobbies including playing the cello, taking French lessons, and bird watching. Out of all of Dr. Paiva's hobbies, her favorite is to travel around the world to see wildlife and experience new cultures.     Dr. Michelle Broecker


    Dr. Michelle Broecker attended the University of Austin where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in botany. In 2009, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. Dr. Broecker's professional interests include geriatric care, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and preventive care. She has a 16 year old red heeler named Oscar and a 14 year old blue heeler named Jessie. In her spare time, Dr. Broecker enjoys gardening, home repair, and hiking the Greenbelt with her two sons.     Dr. Lisa Pocernich


    Dr. Lisa Pocernich is a 2007 graduate of the University of WI-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating veterinary school, she worked for a small animal/emergency practice in northern Arizona for 5 years and then joined the Banfield team in Austin. Dr. Pocernich initially worked at the North Cedar Park location and then relocated to the Brodie Lane location. She currently lives in South Austin with her husband, five cats and a Chihuahua.
